sri Gethuk waterfall is one of the new attractions in the area Gunungkidul Yogyakarta, this place is a tourist attraction I have ever visited.

To reach this place you have to ride the vehicle through the eucalyptus forest owned PERHUTAN with road conditions ranging from good bitumen untill the damaged roads. Hamlet enters Menggoran, eucalyptus plant fields gave way to a meeting of teak. Arriving at the fishing area that also serves as a parking lot, there are two choices of roads to reach the waterfall. The first choice that is down the path with views of green rice fields decorated with coconut palm trees, while the second option is to go up raft current Oya River.

Based a stories people confidence, the waterfall is a storage place kethuk which is one of Jin's gamelan instruments Anggo Meduro. Therefore, it is called by the name of Sri Gethuk Waterfall. That said, at certain times of the Menggoran gamelan is often heard coming from the direction of the waterfall.
